Midnight Moon

Midnight Moon by Elianny Grullon"from PCCC Poetry Contest"(First Place)

It is midnight
I look out my window
I see the night sky
It's like black ink with a glowing light
The midnight moon
It shines so bright it fills my heart with joy
The midnight moon is the queen
The most beautiful of all
The stars are her servants and companions
They look out for her
As she illuminates the world
She inspires me to try and do new things
To believe in myself
The midnight moon is the beacon to the rest of my life
